What is a pivot door?
Where the ubiquitous, ‘normal’ hinged door is attached at one side, a pivot door articulates around a centralised, vertical axis, leaving both the left and right sides of the door unattached from the surrounding wall. This allows for improved thermal sealing, some exceptional opening styles including the floating-door aesthetic or huge, pivoting panes.
Do pivot doors open both ways?
All of our pivoting door systems allow a choice of opening styles, including both in and outward articulation.
