What is a Tilt Window?

The tilting opening variety allows the window to pivot along its bottom horizontal, tilting the top horizontal inward creating draft-free ventilation with rain and wind protection.

What is a Turn Window?

The turning opening variety allows the full window to be brought inward or outward, pivoting along one of its horizontal axes and giving full access to the window area, similar to a door.

Tilt and Turn

Tilt and turn combined can offer both opening options in the exact same window. Tilt for ventilation and protection from the elements and turn the handle for whole window access when desired.
